In Italy, aperitivo isn’t just a drink before dinner. It’s the hour when the day slows down and a glass of wine or a spritz becomes the excuse to stay a little longer with the people you’re with. At La Terrazza, we brought that ritual to the cliff of Uluwatu.
Our sunset bar sits right on the edge of the Bukit, facing the open ocean, and every evening we bring it to life the Italian way: cold glasses, good company, and a sky that does most of the work for us. Come for a quick spritz on your way to dinner, or settle in and let the aperitivo turn into the whole night.
Sunset & vista: the best seat for the show
Uluwatu drops straight into the ocean right in front of you, and every evening the sky turns into the main event. Our Front Deck sits on the very edge of the cliff, the closest seat to the sunset in Uluwatu, cocktail in hand and nothing but water between you and the horizon.
Front Deck seats are first come, first served, so come between 5:00 and 7:00 pm for the best chance at a spot, with a minimum spend of IDR 300K per seat. For the other tables, we recommend reserving in advance, especially during high season.

Spritz & cocktails: the aperitivo, our way
Our drinks list is where Italy meets Uluwatu. Aperol spritz is the house favorite: bright, bitter, and served ice cold. Alongside it, our bartenders shake up a rotating selection of sunset-inspired cocktails, made for sipping slowly rather than rushing through.
For something more traditional, our wine list is imported directly from Italy, chosen to pair with both the menu and the mood: light and easy for an early aperitivo, richer if you’re staying through to dinner for a pizza. Whatever you order, it’s built for the same thing: a good drink, a great view, and no reason to hurry.
Happy hour: two glasses, one on us
Our happy hour runs all day, every day, no time slot to work around. Order two glasses from our Sababay selection and the third is on us. The offer applies to Sababay wines by the glass. It’s the easiest way to turn a quick stop into a proper aperitivo, whether you’re at the bar catching up with friends or on the Front Deck watching the sky change color.
Live music and sunset
Every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, starting at 6 pm, the sunset comes with a soundtrack. Wednesday and Friday bring acoustic guitar, soft enough to talk over and good enough to listen to.
